When they came back, you only saw Taeyang and Seunghyun. You were going to have a day out with your friend when they were both walking towards their place.
“_______ah!” Taeyang said as he embraced you in a hug.
“Annyeong.” You say smiling at both of them.
“Where are you off too?” Seunghyun says in his deep voice.
“My friend invited me to some frozen yogurt place.” You say.
“Ah, that reminds me. Youngbae we should go get ice cream later.”
“Sounds good.” Taeyang says smiling.
“So, where are the other members?” you say trying not to sound too obvious on who you were looking for.
“Daesung went off to a flower shop. He wants to give flowers to his mom, since he’s going to see her. Uh, Seungri… well, honestly who knows where Seungri is.” Taeyang says smiling at this.
“Jiyong, I think, went to clear his mind off. You know how stressed he gets when he has a lot of work.” Seunghyun says.
“He might be at the studio, if you’re looking for him.” Taeyang says checking his phone.
“No, I was just wondering where everyone was.” You say hesitantly.
“Right.” Taeyang says exchanging looks with Seunghyun.
“Well, I should be leaving now. My friend’s probably waiting for me.” You say to them.
“Okay, have fun.” They both say as you leave.
When you get to the yogurt place, your friend is already eating her yogurt.
“You couldn’t wait?”
“No.” she says laughing.
“What did you want to talk about anyways?”
“So my grandparents are doing well now.” She says in a mouthful.
You laugh as you get some for yourself. As you’re paying, she explains how it’s not that bad living with her grandparents. She’s met a nice neighbor who recently moved in.
“Aish. She’s gorgeous. And super nice.”
“At least you’re not complaining.” You say smiling.
“I know. Anyways, it’s weird but today when we went to get a couple groceries, we bumped into-” she says stopping suddenly when you both saw Seungri taking a seat at the table you were both sitting at.
You knew it was him, even with the sunglasses and hat he was wearing.
“What are you doing here?” you ask him, worried that someone might see him.
“Your friend told me you were gonna see her here today.” He says pointing at your friend.
She sighs, “That’s who we bumped into.”
“That’s not what I meant, Seungri. Someone could see y-”
“What happened between you and hyung?”
“Something happened?” your friend said looking up at you.
“Then why are you two being like this?”
“Being like what? He’s been busy, I’ve been busy.”
“You haven’t been busy.” Your friend says interrupting.
You kick her under the table.
“Hyung has been acting weird lately. I don’t know what happened but I know he regrets it.”
“Seungri, that’s the very problem. That he regrets it. That he regrets…”
You stop yourself, realizing what you were about to say. Seungri waits for you to keep going.
“Forget it. I just… I don’t regret anything. But he does.” You say getting up from the table and leaving.
You go straight home.
The next morning, you wake up to a bunch of phone calls from your friend and Seungri. You delete them all and go out to work.
When you’re in the elevator you see Jiyong coming out. You both make eye contact. You don’t know what to do now. You can’t just talk to him like nothing has happened. The doors are slowly closing, but he remains where he is. He doesn’t call out your name. He doesn’t try to catch the elevator. He just stays there, standing.
When the doors close completely, you feel tears fill your eyes. You quickly dry them up, and breathe calmly.
Your phone rings again. You pick it up.
“________ah, I’m outside your building.” Joonsae says.
You go out finding Joonsae’s car immediately. He’s the only one that knows about what happened. However, He’s still nervous about picking you up and dropping you off.
“Are you all right?” he says noticing your eyes.
“Yeah just go.” You say looking out the window wiping your eyes one last time.
As you look out you see Jiyong in his car looking straight at you. You don’t know what he’s thinking, or what he’s feeling. You just see him watching you.
As you leave, you can’t help but wonder what he was thinking.
When you arrive at work, you get a text message, from an unknown number.

It might not have meant anything to you, but it meant the world to me.]
